The spring-loaded trapezoid blade retracts immediately after the cut (No need to hold the slide during cutting). The sturdy aluminum casing with rubberized grip zone rests comfortly and safely in the hand. By positioning the blade slider on top of the tool, the cutter can be used by both right and left-handers.
